Flaxseeds are one of Nature's most powerful seeds!

Flaxseeds can help to prevent constipation and keep your gut biome healthy. They have proven to aid in lowering cholesterol, reduce diabetes, heart disease and in some cases prostrate & breast cancer. The antioxidants in flaxseeds help prevent disease by removing molecules called "free-radicals" from the body. When we are stressed these molecules change the cells and can create disease.

Flaxseeds are considered super foods because of their nutrient dense qualities. They boost your health in many ways with their vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and are naturally gluten-free. Here are the top three benefits:

  • Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Each tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains about 1.8 grams of plant omega-3s.
  • Lignans, which have both plant estrogen and antioxidant qualities. Flaxseed contains 75 to 800 times more lignans than other plant foods. By sprouting our flaxseeds overnight we make the lignans easy to digest.
  • Fiber. Flaxseed contains both the soluble and insoluble types. Each tablespoon of flaxseed contains about 1.9 gm of fiber.

At The Organic Pantry Co. we use organic golden flaxseeds are our number one ingredient in both our crackers and granola. Why take supplements when you can eat real functional food that goes directly to work in your body once you consume it. Boost your health with deliciousness that's good for you.
